i went to minds cafe with ODAC on thurs after the briefing and played "whos the boss". of course, i played that before but still sucked at it. although i wasnt the last, i was second last. took a few pics on the way as my camera was ever ready in my bag!

on fri, roger, susan and me met up for fireworkz @ esplanade. firstly congrats roger on getting his job! i can have free meals at TCC from now on! whahaha.. anyway dunno if hazel will be reading it but just gotta say sorry to her cuz she spent 20bucks taking a cab down yet we had to leave by the time she reached and didnt even get to meet her. sorry! ooh anyway i was going to talk about typical singaporeans. we had actually planned to take our dinner @ makansutra and watched the fireworkz from there. when we reached there, there were already quite a number of ppl seating at the river waiting. come on its still only 7pm!



i couldnt even find a place and it was packed to the max! the singapore culture: kiasu-ism. we decided to head to marina square food court for dinner instead.



practically every where, there were ppl waiting. we got impatient and decided to eat KFC instead. by the time, i was super hungry haha.


come on..

we were clueless and were left scratching our heads as to wat we are gonna eat for dinner. just then, we saw this:


ahha and immediately, someone in front of us stood up and we had the table! finally..

after dinner we headed back to the river to watch fireworkz. it was 8pm and the place was bloody packed! well its a huge understatement to say that.



someone had to even climb trees to get a better view..


we finally managed to settle down on a spot and waited for the fireworkz to start. it was definitely worth it as it was soooo beautiful. i took some videos but couldnt post most of them up as the size was too big. pls see below for the video!

well i gotta head for my nite cycling trip soon. will blog wif pics when i return tml morn. i am looking forward to looking at the sunrise! see ya guys!
